Montessori Program

Practical Life
Practical Life activities are an important part of the Montessori curriculum. They help children develop independence, coordination, concentration, and a sense of responsibility. Children learn everyday skills such as pouring, buttoning, sweeping, folding, and caring for the environment. These activities build confidence and prepare children for daily life.

Sensorial
Sensorial activities in the Montessori classroom help children refine their five senses—sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell. Through hands-on materials, children learn to observe, compare, classify, and make judgments. These activities support brain development, build concentration, and lay a strong foundation for math and language learning.

Language Arts
In the Montessori classroom, Language Arts activities help children develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. Through hands-on materials like sandpaper letters, movable alphabets, children learn phonics, vocabulary, sentence structure, and creative expression. The program builds a strong foundation for literacy in a natural and engaging way.

Math
Montessori Math introduces children to mathematical concepts through hands-on, concrete materials. Children first learn to understand quantity and number symbols using tools like number rods, sandpaper numbers, and spindle boxes. As they progress, they explore addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in a visual and tactile way. This approach helps children develop a deep understanding of math and a love for learning.

Yoga Class
We offer a fun and relaxing yoga class for children. Through simple poses, breathing exercises, and mindful movement, children learn to improve their balance, flexibility, and focus. Yoga also helps them relax and develop a sense of calm and body awareness in a playful environment.

Chinese Class
Our Chinese class introduces children to both Cantonese and Mandarin through fun and interactive activities. We use nursery rhymes, songs, and daily expressions to help them develop listening and speaking skills naturally. To build their reading and writing foundation, we also teach them how to write simple Chinese characters. To make learning Chinese enjoyable, we share Chinese stories, play language games, and celebrate traditional festivals such as Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival. These cultural activities help children build a love for the language while learning about Chinese traditions and values. We create a warm and supportive environment where children feel confident to speak, listen, and explore the richness of the Chinese language.
